Topic:  The Tested Faith

Bible Verse: I Peter 1:6-7 _".., you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ."_

Message: Our faith is always  subjected to test. Even for great men like Peter, Job, Abraham; their Faith was tested. Why this test? Firstly, when our faith is tested we understand it's genuineness. Lot of times like disciple Peter  we feel we are strong in faith but when it's tested we understand the truth of how much we relied on our spiritual strength instead of God & also how weak is our faithfulness like morning dew (Mark 14 :27-31 & Hosea 6:3,4). Secondly, when our faith is tested we grow more strong in it. At such times when we humble ourselves more, spent time on God's word, Pray & learn to rely on God then we see our Faith building up (James 1:2-4 & 5:13; Romans 10:17). Finally, this test is allowed by God with defined boundaries & in God's infinite wisdom for our good. The devil also takes this opportunity to bring in the trails and temptations to see us fall. But God uses them to build our Faith. Remember only those with strong Faith till end can enter into kingdom of Heaven. So for this God has to prepare us; with Him being the author and finisher of our faith (Luke 22:31,32; Job 2: 1-7). God bless you.

The Truth - Faith manifested in works

Topic: Faith manifested in works

Bible Verse: James 2:14 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?"

Message: Our faith in Jesus Christ should be translated into works. Abraham not just believed, but his faith was also manifested in his works (James 2:20-26). Firstly, the work of submitting our body parts to righteous acts & fleeing away from evil (Romans 6:11-13). Such examples are seen even on young men of faith like Joseph & Daniel. Secondly, the work of obeying God's word completely. We should meditate & pray daily for God's Grace to obey His words in Holy Bible (Jeremiah 35:13; John 14:21). Finally, our works should be in faith before God & not just the world. Hence God asked Abraham to walk before Him. When we look upon the sacrifice of Jesus, we will be able to submit & obey God wholeheartedly before Him (Genesis 17:1 & Revelation 2:19). God bless you.

The Truth - Alive with Jesus

Topic: Alive with Jesus

Bible Verse: Romans 6:11 “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Message: When we believe that we were crucified with Jesus it’s also important to believe we are alive in Christ & there is also a hope for our physical resurrection. When Jesus rose again & entered into Heaven, He became the first of all; there by giving the hope that He will raise all those who believe in Him. Hence Jesus said “I died & behold Iam alive forevermore”. Also He said “because I live; you shall also live” (1 Corinthians 15:20; Revelation 1:18 & John 14:19). Secondly, there is a spiritual resurrection. When Jesus died, He took the sin of whole world but when  He rose again from death He lives forever having fellowship with God. In same way the fellowship with God which Adam & we lost to sin ; we now can gain back by coming daily before throne of God through Jesus (Genesis 3:8-10; Hebrews 4:16; Romans 6:10). Finally, the life we live in this world, we are living daily in Jesus. It’s no longer us but Christ who lives in us & daily we are being transformed like Him. One day when we meet Jesus face to face we will be like Him (1John 3:2, Galatians 2:20,21). God bless you.

The Truth - Crucified with Christ

Topic:  Crucified with Jesus

Bible Verse: Romans 6:4 "Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

Message: We believe that Jesus died for our sins. But it's difficult for most of us to believe that we too were crucified, dead & buried with Jesus. This unbelief is the main reason why most of us still live under sin even after receiving forgiveness and cleansing for our sins (Romans 6:1-3). Secondly, What does it mean to be crucified with Jesus? It means we who believe in Jesus have crucified our old desires and sinful nature on cross. Earlier, we who desired sinful life now hate it, once our thoughts were continuously evil, now we have thoughts of Christ (Genesis 6:5, Galatians 5:24-26; 1CORINTHIANS 2:16). Finally, How can we crucify ourselves? It doesn't mean to harm ourselves. It's through faith we do it daily. Just like how we received forgiveness for our sins; when believe, confess & meditate on the Truth that we too are crucified with Christ; we will realise it's no longer we who live but it's Christ in us. We will then roar high in faith like eagle with our minds renewed, submitting our bodies to Christ & not to old sins (Romans 6:11-14 & 12:1,2). God bless you.

The Truth - Self Control in mind and heart

Topic:  Self Control in mind and heart

Bible Verse: Romans 8:6 ”For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life & peace.”

Message: Our God has given us mind & heart that we may imagine & execute great things which are a blessing & as per God’s Will. But the devil always try to spoil our mind & heart by mixing evil desires. It becomes easy for devil to do this when we position ourselves to evil sources like king David did towards lust & a disciple of Jesus, Judas who kept his desire on money (John 13:2). Secondly, we cannot know or understand the warning of times we live in & also the Love of Jesus when we are loaded with desire of the world. Like Judas who never realised the trap (John 13:21-30, Luke 21:34). Finally, we should have the mind of Christ to do the will of God, to be filled with Love, knowledge & understanding from God. This is possible only when we walk daily in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Everyday seek face of God & guidance of Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:10-16 & Romans 12:2). God Bless You.
