Topic: God's Strength in our weakness

Bible Verse: 2Corin:12:9  (God Says) " My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness"

Message: All mankind have weakness to live perfect life. Some accepts a part of it, some never accepts it but believe they are fully perfect. Bible says God chose the weak of the world (I Corin:1:27) The more we understand & agree our weakness the more we will understand God's selection and realise His strength. That's why St Paul who is well trained & seen as perfect in man's sight is glad of knowing his weakness (2Corin:12 :9,10) Second, we should trust in God's grace which is sufficient for us. Remember we are saved by grace & not by our works (Eph:2:8). Third, we have to pray & submit ourselves daily because we are weak. Jesus said Spirit is willing but flesh is weak (Mark:14:38). Jesus prayed deligently when He was in the world  (Heb:5:7) So since He understands our weakness He is able to help us and give us strength (Heb:4:15)

Prayer: Dear Lord help us to overcome our weakness through your strength. Continue to speak with us in Jesus name Amen

Bible verse : John:3:16 " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son" 

Message: We learn 2 important things regarding birth of Jesus. One is the love of God which is revealed to mankind through Jesus Christ. Love of God surpass all our understanding (Eph:3:19) Today as we celebrate Christmas we should ask God to help us in understanding & realizing His great love for us. Because Jesus Christ was born to save us from sins (Is:9:6) Secondly, Jesus Christ was born to restore the lost Glory on man which we lost due to sin (Rom:3:23). In the story of prodigal son (Luk:15:11-24) the son spends his portion of Father's wealth lavishly & realizes the glory which he has lost when he was with the father; the son then decides to come back and join as a servant. But when he returns he finds his father's love & his father restores the lost Glory by accepting him as son (Luk:15:11-24). God is ready to accept us as sons when we believe & realize the purpose behind birth of Jesus Christ.

Prayer : Dear Lord help us to realize the huge price you had paid to restore glory to us. In Jesus name Amen

Topic : Being Confident

Bible Verse : Acts:4:13 "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus"

Message: We are called to live a confident life in Jesus just like how the deciples spoke and lived a bold life at all circumstances. We lose confidence and give up faith in sorrows, failures, or sometimes even for pleasing men of great power & fame. To live a confident live first we should know, meditate & walk in Truth which is word of God day & night. (Josh:1:8 & PS:1:2,3). Secondly, we should realise and believe that God who promised is always with us everytime in all situations (Josh:1:9 & Mat:28:20) When we pray and walk towards Him we will be assured of His presence and will be confident (Jer:29:13) Finally, the sweet communion of Holy Spirit gives us confidence (Acts:4:31) We overcome world not by power but by Spirit (Zach:4:6)

Prayer : Dear Lord help us always to live a confident Christian  life at all situations. Continue to speak with us. In Jesus name Amen

Topic: Remembrance of Saints
Bible Verse:Proverbs:10:7
"The name of the righteous is used in blessings"
Message: As we read in the above Bible verse we learn and get blessed when we look at the lives of righteous or the saints. In one of his letters St Paul writes as "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness "(2Tim:4:7-8)Two things we see here one a good fight in faith to live a righteous life & another to not give up but live in Hope which God has promised. It's only through faith that we can live a righteous life (1John:5:5) & we have to stay in faith with perseverance(Heb:10:39) It is also important to always remember the Hope which God has promised; so that we donot give up in righteous living (Rom:5:5) One more quality we see in Saints is they were ready to give up anything for Jesus (Mat:9:9 &4:20) only when we love Jesus than all things of the world we will be able to follow him and live righteous (John:21:17). Finally the saints always remembered the life of Jesus; His sufferings, preaching, love, prayer life, healing etc. So it's important for us to meditate on life of Jesus said in Gospels (2Tim:2:8)
Prayer: Dear Lord as we remember the righteous who lived for you help us also to stand in faith with hope of reward for faith.

Topic: Growing in God's Love

Bible Verse Ephesians:3:17-19 ".. that you being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ"

Message: It is important to keep growing daily in God's Love. We know that God loves us but the extent of this knowledge differ for each of us. To do God's work, to understand His will, to stand in faith we need to increase in Knowledge of God's love. There are few things which we can do. First when we thank God at all circumstances God's Love gets revealed in us.(1Thes:5:18) We have to give thanks in remembrance of His sacrifice and grace. Second, when we obey His word & walk in His ways God's love is revealed to us and we will remain in His love (1John:2:5 & 5:3). Also donot let the love of world hide God's love (1 John:2:15) Third, when we share God's love with others we increase in knowing His love (1John:4:12) God bless you.
