Truth 4 the Week - Experience Power of God

Topic : Experience Power of God
Bible Verse: Luke:8:46"But Jesus said,Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me."

Message: A woman who was sick for 12 years with discharge of blood was healed when she touched the garment of Jesus (Luke:8:43,44). How did she experience the power of God? Firstly, knowing her need she sought God. We should know need of our soul, body & seek God first & not at last. Jesus said he will feed those who come to Him in hungry (John:6:35). Secondly, the woman exhibited full measure of her faith. We may have different faith levels (Romans: 12:3) but God considers our faith precious than Gold & He wants us to exhibit. Finally, we should not be stagnant in our faith, we should grow daily. For some miracles we wait because God builds our faith and then He make us experience the power. (Isaiah:40: 31). God bless you.

Prayer: Dear Lord help us to experience your Power daily in our lives.Continue to speak with us in Jesus Name Amen.

Truth 4 the Week- Works

Topic: Works
Bible Verse : Revelation 2:23 ".... _and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works_ . "

Message: Our faith is exhibited through our works, without works faith is dead (James:2:14). In fact our works are judged by God and He holds the reward for it (Revelation:22:12). Our works are also tested by fire for genuinity (1Corinthians:3:13). So our works should be driven & approved by God ; filled with Love & Faith. Secondly, when our works are approved by God we earn many souls for God's kingdom (Revelation:2:26), just like how the works of apostles added souls. Finally, we have to hold on the God approved works till the end (Revelation:2:25). Our work is proclamation of God's work on the Cross. So each time let's work as desired by God just like how we did for the first time.

Prayer : Dear Lord let our works be pleasing in your sight. Continue to speak with us in Jesus Name Amen.
