Bble Verse : Acts:19:2 StPaul said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.”

Message : How to receive the anointing of Holy Spirit? Firstly we should have the knowledge of why Holy Spirit is required? What is use of Life in Spirit? To live a Holy life bearing good fruits & to stand against devil we need Anointing of Holy Spirit  (Galatians:5:22). Bible says God annoint us in presence of our enemies (Psalms: 23:5).So when we know the truth and ask God eagerly we receive the annointing (Luke:11:13). Secondly, when God's faithful servants lay hands we receive the anointing. We see StPaul lay hands and annoint people of Ephesus and Timothy (Acts:19:6 & 2Timothy:1:6). Finally, we witness mighty works of Holy Spirit after annointing. St Paul was so annointed that even through his handkerchiefs there was healing (Acts:19:12). How is it possible? It's not easy, it's possible only when we obey and allow Holy Spirit to work in us (Acts:19:18)

Truth 4 the Week - Zeal for God's will

Topic: Zeal for God's will
Bible Verse : John 4:34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."

Message : Jesus always had the zeal to do God's will. How is it possible to have such a great zeal to do God's will? Firstly we should be confident of what is God's perfect will (Psalms 143:10). For this we need 2 things; one is to learn & understand God's word carefully & another is the anointing of Holy Spirit. We see in life of Daniel & the people of Berea who knew confidently the time & signs of God's work. (Daniel 9:2 & Acts 17:10-12). Similarly the anointing of Holy Spirit helps us to keep away from false teachings & hold on to God's perfect will (1John:2:20). Finally, we should always have desire to serve God more better each day. Never even think that we have done enough for God (Psalms 116:12)
