Topic: *Our great sin*
Bible Verse : Numbers 5:6,7 "... ‘When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit in unfaithfulness against the Lord, and that person is guilty, then he shall confess the sin which he has committed..."
Message : Many times we feel we have not done any great sin & we are Holy as per standards of world (Numbers 16:3). Firstly, we need to understand what is sin? Any action done in disobedience to God & His commands are sin. So we sin against God & become His enemies (Ephesians 5:6, Psalms 51:4 & Romans 5:10). Secondly, we are deceived by the devil to commit sin & all sinful ways comes with a deception of giving us glory, fame or happiness & wealth. But God who is really interested to give all these things gave His commands so that by obeying we can be blessed (Genesis 4:7, Psalms 19:7-11). Finally, though we desire to live Holy obeying God, we still find in us the law of weakness to sin. But God through His great love made a way through Jesus Christ to cleanse our sins & seal us with His Holy Spirit for us to be blessed as His Holy children (Romans 7:21-25 & 1John 3:1).
