Topic: Holy Communion
Bible Verse : 1Corinthians :11:29,30 " For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep "
Message : When we take part in the Holy Communion we have to remember & revere the bread & wine as body and blood of Jesus. On doing so we receive strength because blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins & also gives strength to serve God (1John:1:7 & Hebrews: 9:14). There are 2 things we remember in a Holy Communion. Firstly the rememberence of God's love which helps us to hate sin & Love others (John:3:16 & 1John:2:15). Secondly, the remembrance of our victory through Jesus Christ which helps us to stand firm in faith at all times & also know devil is a defeated foe (2 Timothy:2:8 & Colossians : 2:15).
Prayer : Dear Lord help us to remember your broken body & your precious blood shed for us on the Cross. Continue to speak with us in Jesus Name Amen.
