Topic : Chaos of Disobedience
Bible Verse: Jonah1:10 " Then the men were exceedingly afraid and said to him, "What is this that you have done!" For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord , because he had told them"
Message : Jonah was a man who feared God. But when he disobeyed God & fled to city of Tarshish; the ship he was travelling got affected by wind. Firstly, we have to understand that sometimes chaos are created because of our disobedience; so that we may get back to God (Hebrews:12:5,6). Jonah knew it & realising the fainting of his soul, he sought God again (Jonah:2:7). Secondly, God puts our life back to the purpose He called us (Jonah:3:1,2). He could have easily selected another person when we disobey; but He doesn't do so. God loves us, He waits for us to get back so that He can mould us according to His mighty purpose for which we are called (Romans 8:30 & John:15:16).
Prayer : Dear Lord help us to understand our disobedience & bring us back to your mighty purpose. Continue to speak with us. In Jesus name Amen
