Truth 4 the Week - Cast out devil

Bible Verse: Mark 16:17 " And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons "

Message : Many times we think casting out devil is necessary only for those who are processed by devil. But it is important to cast out the works of devil from family, churches society, workplace & nation. It is because the devil continuously seeks to devour the lives of people especially those who trust and stand for God (1Peter 5:8). How to cast the devil out? Firstly, if we carry God's presence the devil moves out just like how darkness moves out when there is light. For this we have to be a child of God cleansed of our sins & having Jesus in our hearts. St Paul carried presence of God which delivered many (Acts 19:12). Secondly, Jesus said some spirits can be casted out only with fasting & prayer (Matthew 17:21). It means we should regularly fast & pray to have deep relationship with God. Finally, the gift of Holy Spirit helps to discern spirits. So that you can identify & cast out the devil. (1Corinthians 12:10).

Prayer : Dear Lord thank you for the authority given to cast out the devil. Continue to speak with us. In Jesus name Amen

Truth 4 the Week - Backsliding

Topic: Backsliding
Bible Verse: Jeremiah: 2:19 Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty .

Message : God hates backslidings in our lives. When we backslide from God we forget His love and we exchange the glory He had given to evil things (Jeremiah:2:11). Secondly we should understand that God wants to cure our backsliding (Jeremiah:3:22). No matter what is your situation and how far you had gone ;Jesus calls you to come to him so that He can restore you. Some do not return at all and they lose their Grace to come back (Jeremiah:2:6-8). Finally, we should not be stagnant in our spiritual life we should understand more of God only then we will not backslide (Jeremiah:3:15,16).

Prayer: Dear Lord forgive our backslidings and cure them. Continue to speak with us. In Jesus name Amen.

Truth 4 the Week - Sharing the Joy

Topic: Sharing the Joy
Bible Verse : Acts 3:6 " Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Message: The birth of Jesus gave Joy to the World (Luke:2:10,11). The Joy is Jesus Christ given for all mankind and He will dwell in hearts of whoever believes in Him (Mathew 1:23 & John:14:23). So we have to share this Joy with others. The Joy you give by sharing wealth will fade away when wealth is used up, but when Christ is shared the Joy will never fade away. Firstly we can share only when we have. The disciples were filled with Christ that's why they could share this Joy at all times. Secondly, sharing this Joy is not an outward push by spiritual leaders; but it is more often inward compulsion. The more we have tasted Jesus, the more we will be compelled to tell about Him (2 Corinthians: 5:14).

Prayer: Dear Lord thank you for giving us Jesus Christ, the greatest Joy in our lives; Help us to share this great Joy with others. Continue to speak with us in Jesus name, Amen!

Truth 4 the Week - Harvest for sharing Gospel

Topic : Harvest for sharing Gospel

Bible Verse : Ezekiel 33:7,8 “ So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand."

Message : The harvest for sharing Gospel is not conversion to Christianity but it is saving of souls from death at hell. When will souls be saved? Firstly, when a person feels guilty of his sin and understand God's Love on cross, his soul will be saved. (Acts 2:37 and John 3:16). secondly, some harvest you will see only after some days of sharing Gospel & not immediately(Galatians 6:9). when you have shared the word which God gave, God will speak to the person using the word. He keeps knocking at a person's heart (Revelation 3:20). Finally save your soul from not giving unto sin while sharing Gospel. Guard yourself in the power of God(Galatians 6:1)

Prayer: Dear Lord you said harvest is plenty and workers are few. As we share your word help us to reap a plentiful harvest of souls. Continue to speak with us, In Jesus Name, Amen!
