Bible Verse: Jeremiah: 2:19 Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty .
Message : God hates backslidings in our lives. When we backslide from God we forget His love and we exchange the glory He had given to evil things (Jeremiah:2:11). Secondly we should understand that God wants to cure our backsliding (Jeremiah:3:22). No matter what is your situation and how far you had gone ;Jesus calls you to come to him so that He can restore you. Some do not return at all and they lose their Grace to come back (Jeremiah:2:6-8). Finally, we should not be stagnant in our spiritual life we should understand more of God only then we will not backslide (Jeremiah:3:15,16).
Prayer: Dear Lord forgive our backslidings and cure them. Continue to speak with us. In Jesus name Amen.
