Truth 4 the Week - Dragged to Sin
Topic: Dragged to Sin 👣
Bible Verse : James 1:14 "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed"
Message : Though we are saved after accepting Jesus into our lives, we still find some sinful desires sticking to us (Romans 7: 22,23). Our body or flesh is weak & it desires sin, the devil who is called tempter brings us sinful desires, people around us who are still into evil ways bring us sinful desires (Galatians 5:17, Ephesians 2:2,3 & Proverbs 1: 10-16). We can overcome through ways shown by God. Firstly pray with desire to be Holy so that we don't fall into temptation (James 5:13). Secondly, walk in Holy Spirit by asking & fulfilling desires of Holy Spirit of God (Galatians 5:16 & Romans 8:5,13). Thirdly, submit to God stand against devil, rebuke him in Jesus name. The devil will then flee (James 4:7). Finally, be watchful always ask for God's Grace to protect even during sleep, idle hours & at excitement of achievements (Matthew 13:25, 1Peter 5:8 & Deuteronomy 8:11-20). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Decisions
Topic : Decisions
Bible Verse: Daniel 1: 8 "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank.."
Message : Our decisions generally originate in our brain, gets finalized & proceeds out from heart (Mark 7 :20-23). Hence it is very important to gaurd our brain & heart by filling it with God's Word (Holy Bible) & Heavenly things where Jesus is seated (Psalms 119:11 & Colossians 3:1,2). Daniel took good decision towards Holy life but Judas Iscariot took wrong decision to betray Jesus (Luke 22: 4-6). Secondly, our decisions should be in accordance to God's Will & intrests because He loves us & does best for us (Romans 8:32).When asked, God will reveal His desire through many ways like from His Word, Prayer, Visions, dreams, God's faithful servants etc. We see God's hand backing decision of Daniel & helping the servant of Abraham when they desired God's Will (Daniel 1:9 & Genesis 24: 42,43 & 50). An Effective Prayer
Topic: An Effective Prayer🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♂️
Bible Verse : James 5:16 "... The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much"
Message: An effective prayer is not defined by duration, place or nature of a person. To make an effective prayer firstly, we have to seek god as we are. Which means we have to acknowledge and be transparent. Weather we are in sin, sickness, fear or confused open up to God as it is (Luke 18:13,14 & Mark 14:34). Secondly, we have to pray in Faith without doubting (James 1:6,7 & Mark 11:24). We should desire and expect the change. Finally, do not give up in prayer (1Thessalonians 5:17). Elijah prayed till he saw a sign for rain in a nation affected by drought (1Kings 18: 43,44). We get wearied when there is delay or when we did not receive our expected answer but learn to trust on God's perfect time and Will which is of great wisdom from God (Job 42:3 & Isaiah 55:8,9). Truth 4 the Week - Deliverance from Fear of Death
Topic: Deliverance from Fear of death
Bible Verse : 1 Corinthians 15:55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
Message : Only Jesus Christ who came into this world, died for us on the cross, buried & rose again the 3rd day can deliver us from fear of death (Revelation 1:18). How? Firstly, people who have accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour have committed their lives to Jesus. Therefore until has God's purpose is accomplished in their lives death cannot touch them (Galatians 2:20, John 7:30 & Job 2:6). Secondly, for those who live in Christ death is an advantage because of the life in Heaven where they rejoice and are away from all worldly warfare & pains (Philippians 1:21 & Psalms 84:4). Finally, we have to pray for long life of everyone so that each one gets an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ to reach Heaven & for those who serve Christ as they are a blessing to everyone in world and they build God's Kingdom. Truth 4 the Week - Marah to Elim

Bible Verse : Exodus 15:23 "Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah"
Message : When Israelites were led out by God from slavery in Egypt they crossed Red sea, walked in dessert and reached a place Marah which means bitterness. We too face lot of bitter situations in life. But these situations makes us to seek God deligently & helps us to understand our ways (Psalms 18:6 & Psalms 139: 23,24). We understand God's heart and His ways as we seek Him (Jeremiah 29:11-14). We grow stronger in faith as we understand & correct ourselves (James 1:2-4). Secondly, if remember & understand sufferings of Jesus Christ our bitterness will turn sweet (1Corinthians 11:23-26 & Psalms 84:6). Finally, there came a Elim after Marah where it was full of abundant blessing. Jesus gave us hope of eternal life in Heaven through His resurrection from death. So never turn back to slavery of sin when we face Marah (John 16:33 & Hebrews 12:2,3). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Mighty God
Topic: Mighty God
Bible Verse : Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save"
Message: One of the names given to our God is Mighty God. He is God Almighty, powerful over everything (Isaiah 9:6 & Exodus 6:3). The name of Jesus Christ is above all names (Philippians 2:9-11). We should remember that God with us is Almighty over our problems, sickness, devil, rulers of world etc (1John 4:4). Secondly, if we have given our life to Jesus even we will see mighty things (2 Corinthians 5:17). One such thing is resurrection from dead. Jesus conquered death & He shall not let our souls die (Psalms 16:10 & 1Thessalonians 4:14). Finally, we should have faith & trust in God inorder to see mighty things. (Luke 8:43-48). Many have godliness but deny it's power (2Timothy 3:5). Faith should be in works, be doers of God's Word to see God's Might (James 1:22 & 2:14-17). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - God our Counselor

Bible Verse : Proverbs 11:14 "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety "
Message : A good counsel can raise up & lead a person to success. One of the names of our God is Counselor (Isaiah 9 :6). How can God counsel us? Through His Word (The Holy Bible) & through the Holy Spirit. God's Word in Bible has life & it will counsel anyone who meditate, believe & willing to follow (2 Timothy 3:16, Psalms 119:24 & 19:7-11). If we have repented of our sins and given our life to Jesus Christ through faith in His death & resurrection then we are saved by His blood & sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). Hence God is with us always (Matthew 28:20). He will counsel us into all truth & at all times (John 16:13 & Isaiah 30:21). Secondly, God's counsel is above all because He is the creator & He knows everything even the farthest future (Proverbs 3:19 & Isaiah 46:9,10). Finally, many times we reject or not even check for God's counsel (Psalms 106:13). Never harden hearts for God's counsel, we will fall in devil's traps (Hebrews 3: 7-12). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Wonderful God
Topic: Wonderful God
Bible Verse: Psalms 40:5 "Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done"
Message : Wonderful is one of the names given to our God in Holy Bible (Isaiah 9:6). Why is God so wonderful? Firstly, His look & nature are wonderful. He dwells in bright light & His countenance is beyond description (Ezekiel 2:26-28 & Revelation 1:13-16). His Holiness, Patience, Goodness etc are beyond human standards (Ephesians 3:19, Psalms 103:8). This mighty God appeared in flesh as Jesus Christ & He dwells among us (John 14:9 & John 1:14). Secondly, His works are wonderful (Psalms 111:2-4). His creation we see around is proof of His works. God can change around any situation, any sinner or any battle. He makes things out of nothing (Romans 4:17). Finally, we should meditate on this wonderful works of God & remember we have a wonderful God with us. So that we serve Him in reverential fear and we will not give away God for pleasures of world (Psalms 96 :9 & Philippians 3:8). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Fruitful Life
Topic: Fruitful Life 🍇🍒
Bible Verse : Matthew 21:19 "And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away"
Message : We are more excited & happy when we see a tree with fruit and not just leaves. In the same way God expects good things in our lives which are like the fruits in a tree. Bible says about 9 such good fruits (Galatians 5:22,23). We have received lot of good things from God but just like the fig tree if we are not giving good fruits then we too will be withered one day (Luke 13: 8,9). Secondly, we can give good fruits only if we are connected to Jesus Christ. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we are connected to God (John 15:4-8 & Ephesians 2:13). Everyday check your life, ask for forgiveness and submit to live according to the Holy Bible. Finally, stand in faith and do not give up giving good fruits because it pleases God & we have a greater reward in Heaven (Hebrews 10:35-38). God bless you.

Truth 4 the Week - A look into our life

Bible Verse : Psalm 139:24 _"And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting"
Message : We approach lent days where we generally abstain from our favourite foods for 40 days, but it is also important to look into our life and correct things. A step which we should ideally do daily. Firstly, never analyse life with rules of world and people of the world. World calls wrong as right like calling abortions legal (Isaiah 5:20). Also world & it's ways are going to perish , hence it cannot lead us to perfection (1 John 2:17). Secondly, analyse life with God's Word the Holy Bible (Hebrews 4:12). Why? It's because God's Word is God's ways & His righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16,17). How to analyse? Not just reading or memorizing the verses but keeping in our hearts and comparing our life with Bible (Psalm 119:11). Finally, walk according to God's Word. Many times though we have understanding of God's Word we give up thinking it's impossible to follow & God's standards are high. Yes but if we submit ourselves in prayer asking for God's help. He will help us and we will see change in our lives (Hebrews 4:15,16 & 1 John 1:8,9). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Silence of God Part2

Bible Verse: 2Peter 3:9 " _The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance_ " ESV
Message: Many times we mistake the silence of God as He is not working. But God expects certain things from us when we are not able to hear His voice or feel His presence. Firstly, check for ways in our life not pleasing to God (Psalms 139:24). Godly sorrow brings repentance (Song of Songs 3:1-3 & 2 Corinthians 7:10). Beware of false preachers and worshippers who don't lead to true solution but say peace when there are actual wounds to be healed (Jeremiah 6:14 & Ezekiel 13:10). Secondly, never give up prayer . Wait till we hear from God. Learn from lives of Job, Daniel & Elijah (1Kings 18:41-46, Daniel 9:2-4). Finally, stand on God's calling, propose & teachings by trusting the reward He has promised. Learn from Jesus who stood on God's Will even when there was silence & no reply when He endured pain on Cross (Psalms 22:1,2 & Hebrews 12:2). God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Silence of God

Bible Verse : 1Samuel 28:6 "And when Saul inquired of the Lord , the Lord did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets"
Message : Our God listens to our prayers and speaks to us back through His Word, servants, dreams & many more ways (Job 33:14,15). But when God remain silent we become impatient & start acting on our fleshly dreams thoughts or words of our favoured people (Ezekiel 13:6-8). Why is God silent? Firstly, when we have disobeyed or fallen to sinful ways there is a silence until we are willing to humble & repent (Matthew 15:22-28). Secondly, if we had asked without proper understanding or if it's God's will for us not to know certain things then there is a silence (Romans 12:3, Matthew 20:21,22 & Acts 1:7). After praying trust in God's time like Hannah. Finally, God is silent until the appointed time of accomplishment of His Will (John 2:4 & Revelation 6:10,11). In these times God gives us comfort & strength to wait. God bless you

Truth 4 the Week - Weary Part2

Bible Verse: Isaiah 28:12 " To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This is the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear"
Message: God has provided ways to bring us out of weariness. But at times we reject the rest and comfort which God provides us. Firstly, when we indulge in sinful ways and worldly pleasures we become weary (Psalms 32:1 & Job 20:4,5). We cannot enjoy God's rest until we are willing to give up these evil ways and get cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ (Proverbs 28:13). Secondly when we don't trust in the promises & works of God we become weary and we are not receiving rest because our eyes are hidden to see the great purpose & the hand of God working behind (2 Kings 6: 13-17). So let's give up evil ways & trust God's promises at all times so that we receive His comfort and rest at all situations. God bless you

Bible Verse : Isaiah 40:29 (NIV) "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak"
Message : We often get weary in spiritual and worldly things. Why are we getting weary? Firstly, we put the entire pressure of getting the desired result on our own head and try with our efforts. But our efforts will be in vain if God doesn't act (Psalms 127). So like Hannah we should learn to leave it to God, trust Him & do as He instructs then we will find more than the desired result in spiritual & worldly life. (I Samuel 1). Secondly when we lack waiting in prayer and meditating Bible we easily get weary. Prayer gives strength & is needed for us to stand in Faith during second coming of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 40:31 & Luke 18:1-8). Finally, Jesus never forsakes anyone who is getting weary. He calls them unto Him so that He can strengthen them (Matthew 11:28 & 12:20). God bless you.

Bible Verse: Psalms 121:5 (ERV) "The Lord is your Protector. The Lord stands by your side, shading and protecting you"
Message : We all need protection from sin, sickness, failures, dangers etc. God's protection is the prime & highest above all. How does God protect His people? Firstly, God protects by giving warning. Meditating God's Word (The Holy Bible) daily we receive warnings from falling into evil ways & wrong decisions (Psalms 19:11). Secondly, God protects by giving us grace. In our weakness God's grace is more than sufficient to protect us (2 Corinthians 12:9). His grace & mercy are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23). Hence receive it daily through prayer. Finally, there are many ways God works to protect us which we don't realise many times. God sends His Angels to protect us from devil, He also protect us by watching over us, keeping us as apple of eye and many more ways (Psalms 91: 11, Psalms 17:8). God bless you

All our differences in status, position, education, skill etc will go when each of us who gather are connected to Jesus in personal life.
3.One accord comes through the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:17 and 12:13
4.One accord comes through brotherly love and kindness Ephesians 4:. 2,3

Truth 4 the Week - Questioning God's Protection
Topic: *Questioning God's Protection* 🤔
*Bible Verse* : Psalms 22:1 _" My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?"_
*Message* : Nothing can harm us when there is God's protection. We see this very clearly in life of Job (Job 1:8-10). But when we go though difficult times the question arises on God's protection. Why we face trouble if there is God's protection?. Firstly, when we do not heed to God's warning given through Holy Bible & preachings from God's Word at Churches, fellowships etc we end up in trouble. (Psalms 119:165 & James 1:23 - 25). So not just be readers or hearers of Holy Bible but meditate & follow. Finally, certain situations come into our lives for our good so that we get a greater reward in Heaven & that our place in Heaven is protected (Romans 8:28). Though we go through suffering it will be for a shorter period, God will reveal His purpose and embrace us (Isaiah 54:7). God bless you.
