Bible Verse: Daniel 1: 8 "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank.."
Message : Our decisions generally originate in our brain, gets finalized & proceeds out from heart (Mark 7 :20-23). Hence it is very important to gaurd our brain & heart by filling it with God's Word (Holy Bible) & Heavenly things where Jesus is seated (Psalms 119:11 & Colossians 3:1,2). Daniel took good decision towards Holy life but Judas Iscariot took wrong decision to betray Jesus (Luke 22: 4-6). Secondly, our decisions should be in accordance to God's Will & intrests because He loves us & does best for us (Romans 8:32).When asked, God will reveal His desire through many ways like from His Word, Prayer, Visions, dreams, God's faithful servants etc. We see God's hand backing decision of Daniel & helping the servant of Abraham when they desired God's Will (Daniel 1:9 & Genesis 24: 42,43 & 50).
